Description
Description:
Amex Curable Reducer can be added to plastisol ink in order to thin the ink without compromising the curing capabilities. It reduces ink viscosity without compromising flash cure time. You can use this with all AMEX plastisol inks, However, if you are using this with a different plastisol ink we do recommend you conduct tests. This is an AMEX product therefore we would recommend it to be used with AMEX inks. The additive can be used up to 10% in the ink.
Features
• Thins plastisol ink.
• Can be mixed into colours.
• Good washing resistance.
Printing
To obtain best results use a decent tension screens 34T/(80) to 90T/(230) both for manual printing and automatic presses – for best results use with a sharp squeegee blade.
Clean up
Please use Easisolv 842 , Easiolv 701, Stinky Screen Wash or Franmar, please dispose of any cleaning consumables in a safe manner and use the correct PPI.
Curing
Plastisol will be fully cured at 165°C. Printed garments need to be passed through a quality dryer and the ink film needs to reach the desired temperature to be fully fused, variables such as garment thickness and colour, ink deposit and operating climate will need to be taken into account when setting your oven parameters. Always wash test production to ensure prints are adequately cured.

This stuff is awesome – I add it to all my plastisols to get the best consistency to work with. I also bought a bulk load of second hand plastisols that have been sat open for months on end and looked like they were no good – Added some of this reducer to it and and a good mix later the old inks were like brand new. Highly recommend!
