This yellow tape by Newman is designed with roller frames and standard stretch and glue frames in mind. It is a thick durable tape that is effective in protecting high tension mesh from damage on the areas where the mesh makes contact with the screen clamps. It can be used to block the edges of the mesh and keep the frame free of inks saving valuable time during pre-press cleanup. It is resistant to water based inks as well as plastisols and solvent based ink systems, and will not leave a residue on the frames or mesh once removed. Damaged screens on the press and in a busy production environment will cost a business time and money, this 3” Newman Yellow Screen Tape will protect mesh against incidental damage and prolong the life of screens, both on and off the press and is effective in saving the print shop time and money in the long term.
