Plastisol thinner 86 decreases viscosity and is specifically created for use with plastisol inks. This thinner fluidizes the ink making it more elastic, soft and glossy whilst improving the printability of plastisol ink. Add this thinner to plastisol inks at a maximum percentage of 5%. We would recommend that it is only used with our AMEX ink range, as with all additives, please always do a wash test prior to production to check results. It is a great reducer for white or opaque inks as it does not reduce opacity.

This product is supplied in 1L bottles.

Printing

Add this thinner to one of our Amex plastisol inks at a maximum percentage of 5%.

Clean up

Please use Easisolv 842 , Easiolv 701, Stinky Screen Wash or Franmar, please dispose of any cleaning consumables in a safe manner and use the correct PPI.

Curing

Plastisol with Amex 86 Thinner added will be fully cured at 165°C. Printed garments need to be passed through a quality dryer and the ink film needs to reach the desired temperature to be fully fused, variables such as garment thickness and colour, ink deposit and operating climate will need to be taken into account when setting your oven parameters. Always wash test production to ensure prints are adequately cured.
