Easiway Screen Reclaiming Kit

Description

This is a simple step by step screen reclaiming kit that contains everything you need for reclaiming screens. Available in 1LTR and 5LTR options.

The kit will include the following:

• Step 1.) Easiway Easisolv 701n Screen Wash & Stain Remover
• Step 2.) Easiway Easisolv 500 Emulsion Remover – Please note: This will be sent as a 250ml and an empty 1 litre bottle. To mix, Simply add the 250ml Emulsion Remover to the 1 ltr bottle and fill the rest with water. For the 5 ltr option, 1 ltr of Emulsion Remover will be sent with a 5 ltr bottle.
• Step 3.) Easiway Easisolv 415n Stain & Haze Remover
• Step4.) Easiway Screen Perfect Degreaser Concentrate
• Easiway 842 On Press Screen & Press Wash
• 5 x  Biggie Red Pads
• 5x Biggie Handles
• Safety Glasses
• Pair of chemical gloves

STEP 1 – Ink Removal Clean the ink off the screen using 701 to get the screen as clean as possible, and remove the all tape. Quick tip; Use low tack tapes for taping screens as they don’t leave sticky residues that require tough cleaning, stay away from packing tape! Products used here: Easiway 701

STEP 2 – Emulsion removal Scrub or brush on the emulsion remover, ensuring both sides of the screen are thoroughly covered – you should visibly see the emulsion softening – leave for a minute or two to allow the emulsion to soften. DO NOT let this dry into the screen. Now blow off the emulsion with a high-pressure washer. Products used here: Ready Mixed Easisolv 500 Stencil Remover

STEP 3 – De Haze (if needed) If you still have a stain or ghost haze on the screen apply dehaze liquid with scrubbing pad. Leave for no longer than 10 mins otherwise this may cause damage to the mesh. Then rinse off with pressure washer. Products used here: Easiway 415

STEP 4 – Degreasing: Degreaser should be sprayed on and thoroughly scrubbed onto both sides of the cleaned mesh. It’s useful to leave it standing for a minute or so after scrubbing before rinsing off the degreaser. Rinsing does not need to be done using high pressure, it can be done using a normal hosepipe. To dry, store the screen horizontally with the mesh facing downwards. Products used here: Diluted Easiway Screen Perfect

Other: The additional product of Easiway 842 can be used as a general ink cleaner, this will help to clean down surfaces and equipment such as spatulas etc and is a great colour change ink cleaner to use on press for plastisol inks. A very quick, easy and effective ‘must need’ in any printshop.
