Cracking White Texprint is a ready to print Waterbased Ink, available in 1kg and 5kg tubs. It is used to give fabrics that Vintage cracked look and feel . Texprint inks are formaldehyde, PVC and heavy metal free and offer you everything you’d expect from a quality Italian ink. This base is fully intermixable with Amex Pigments and perfect for printing onto dark and light garments. Cracking by hand or by washing.

Printing
To obtain best results use decent tension screens 34T/(80) or 43T(110) both for manual printing and automatic presses – best results with a sharp squeegee blade.
Additives
- Cold Cure Catalyst. (for cold curing, or assisting wash resistance)
- Retarder (to slow down the drying of ink on the screen)
- Clear Base (to base colour back or soften colour for printing onto light shade garments)
Clean up
Please use Water or Franmar Aqua wash or Multipurpose Ink Remover. Easisolv 701 is useful to clean up and remove stains.
Curing
Water Based Inks are cured at 165°C ideally for 2-3 minutes. Printed garments need to be passed through a quality dryer and the ink film needs to reach the desired temperature and maintained for a fixed time, variables such as garment thickness and colour, ink deposit and operating climate will need to be taken into account when setting your oven parameters. Always wash test production to ensure prints are adequately cured.
