StyroPrint Premium High Gloss Solvent-Based Graphic Screen Ink for Polystyrene.
Summary
StyroPrint screen printing inks are formulated to be suitable for polystyrene in sheet or container form. The inks are fast drying with good screen stability, and are tough, resilient and exhibit good gloss when dry.
DRYING
StyroPrint inks dry by evaporation and will air dry in racks in 5 to 10 minutes. Drying time is reduced through a jet drier.
THINNING
StyroPrint thinner is recommended with reduction up to 20%. For greater screen stability use StyroPrint Retarder. StyroPrint fast thinner may be used to speed drying.
PRINTING MATERIALS
StyroPrint inks are suitable for most stencil materials. Best results are obtained printed through 90-110 threads/cm using a mono filament synthetic mesh.
STOCK
StyroPrint inks give excellent adhesion to most grades of Polystyrene The inks can be vacuum formed with a deep draw.
DURABILITY
StyroPrint inks are designed to be durable for up to three years when used outdoors, depending on conditions. All pigments used in the range have light-fastness of at least 7 on the Blue Wool Scale.
COVERAGE
An estimated coverage of approximately 25 m²/kg can be obtained with StyroPrint inks, provided standard recommendations for reducer and mesh are followed.
SAFETY StyroPrint inks and solvents are designed to be free of control by the Highly Flammable Liquids Regulations 1972. The inks are also free of lead-chrome or other heavy metal compounds.
