Description
The M&R ORBITER™ Automatic Direct to Film (DTF) Application System is a versatile rotary heat transfer machine. The ORBITER is specifically engineered to support the M&R QUATRO™ DTF product line. The design encompasses 40 years of M&R carousel machine engineering with precision pressure and speed upgrades necessary to support optimal DTF transfer application. With a full-colour touchscreen HMI, adjustable place and peel settings, and robust, reinforced construction, the ORBITER is adaptable to all your application requirements.
The ORBITER’s rotary indexing base splits the application time over multiple heat press platens to produce more than 360 transfers per hour under optimal conditions. This transforms passive “waiting” time into active pressing time. The ability to automatically load and unload transfers removes repetitive tasks associated with DTF transfer pressing. The speed increase dramatically outperforms the traditional single-platen heat press process. The ORBITER supports one piece flow and Just-in-Time manufacturing models.
The ORBITER can be used independently from a QUATRO as a standalone heat press solution or integrated into the QUATRO ecosystem to help achieve the most time- and labour-efficient DTF production environment.
