Amex Screen Sol HS ONE Emulsion is a ready to use one pot Photopolymer photoemulsion. This emulsion does not require a sensitizer.

For the preparation of screens for screen printing. Specially indicated with CTS system (DLE-LED) or Blue Ray exposing systems. Specifically Designed for use with Textile plastisol, solvent based and water-based inks for flat printing.

GENERAL & TECHNICAL FEAUTURES

•Very fast exposure
•Colour: Light Blue
•Ready to use (without sensitizing)
•Excellent resistance to plastisol and solvent based inks
•Good resistance to water based inks
•Solid content: 44 %
•Viscosity: about 35.000 cps (25 °c)

APPLICATION

We suggest you to apply 1 or 2 coats of emulsion on the external face of the screen and 1 or 2 coats on the internal face. To only be applied to clean, properly degreased and dried mesh only.

Make sure you always work in an area with yellow safe light due to the increased sensitivity. Note - This emulsion is a READY TO USE emulsion from the pot without the need to add a sensitizer.

DRYING

At 30-35°C for 40-60 minutes according to the coating thickness. Use a dehumidifier in the drying area if possible.

EXPOSURE

Lamp type, distance from lamp to screen, mesh type and coating thickness can affect exposure time. To determinate the correct exposure time we suggest to make some test with an exposure calculator.

Our suggestion:
•Mesh: 55 Th/cm
•Lamp: UV metal-halogen 5000W
•Distance: 1 mt
•Application: 2 int. coats / 2 ext. Coats
•Exposure time: 30 seconds

DEVELOPMENT
At room temperature, dip the screen into water for 5 minutes then rinse it through a water jet with medium pressure.
After dry it in an oven at 35°C.

RE-TOUCHING
After development is possible to retouch the screen using a blockout filler or with more of the Pure Polymer photo-emulsion. In this case is needed to re-expose the screen for 60 seconds.

CATALYSTS
To increase the chemical and mechanical resistance if large printing runs are required and use SCREEN-CHEM CATALYST.
The so treated screen may be used after:
-12 hours, if dried at room temperature
-45 minutes, if dried into air oven at 50°C
Note: the catalyzed photoemulsion may not be reclaimed anymore.

RECLAIMING

Please use Easiway 500 to remove this emulsion or Easiway Supra for use with a dip tank. 

SHELF-LIFE
If stored in its original container at a temperature of maximum 20°C SCREEN-SOL HS ONE will preserve its features for about 1 year from the date of production.
