Amex Flex white can be used on stretchy fabrics and as an underbase white. Available in both 1kg and 6kg tubs, Amex plastisol inks are phthalate and heavy metal free and due to their fine milling offer a soft feel and good elasticity once cured. They have a great mixing consistency and are super opaque making them perfect for printing onto dark garments. These inks are quality Italian made inks and can be mixed together to obtain various shades. They are suitable for both manual or automatic printing.
- Super Stretchy plastisol
- Low flash cure times
- Bright white with a smooth finish
- Good washing resistance.
To obtain best results use decent tension screens 34T/(80) to 90T/(230) both for manual printing and automatic presses – best results with a sharp squeegee blade.
- Curable reducer. (Ink thinner)
- Soft hand base. (for softer prints on lighter shade garments)
- Thinner Additive 86. (Ink thinner)
- Puff Additive.(for raised prints)
- Fibre Bond. (to reduce curing temperature)
Plastisol will be fully cured at 165°C. Printed garments need to be passed through a quality dryer and the ink film needs to reach the desired temperature to be fully fused, variables such as garment thickness and colour, ink deposit and operating climate will need to be taken into account when setting your oven parameters. Always wash test production to ensure prints are adequately cured.
